The Democracy index(DI) is numeric in addition to all country's democratic level by Yorusari Memorial National Science Foundation(YMNSF) and Stockholm Economic Research Establishment.The index is divided into five levels by "Democracy Index".
The index is scored from the next five views.
・The Election process and pluralism
・The government types and political pluralism
・The press liberty
・The civil liberty
・The government effectiveness
DI is sometimes criticized by some people and some communities such as DI is Western and South propaganda. Actually the index isn't a perfect index to represent democratic levels in each country.

DI is sometimes criticized by some people and some communities such as DI is Western and South propaganda. Actually the index isn't a perfect index to represent democratic levels in each country.
Note:The index is not a failure nation index(FNI). The FNI is scored by economics and the situation of the government. So, the score is scored without view from democracy.
History 
The DI was started by the Stockholm economic research establishment in 2020.At the time, the index research's target is quantitative research for democratic levels.
Since 2021's index,YMNSF joined the research because academic and government emphasize each government's effectiveness.*1.
In 2023,YMNSF announced the index's announcement would be late by the Yorusari-Soviet war,2023.
